Describe
This is an organic sculpture. it is made of Strips of different cardboards. There are some gaps and "unfinished areas."
Analize
This piece uses texture to promote its feeling of incompleteness or perhaps undefinedness. Each seperate piece of cardboard makes up a rough texture slowly forming the element of of shape. The shape is organic and natural looking.
Interpret
This pIece is a abstract work that seeks to represent the human existence. Each one of us may have an identity that we present, but we are all made of hundreds of experiences and pieces that come together to make us who we are. Very rarely are those pieces smoothed or blended or refined. We as people are never finished. There will always be holes, and we are always adding pieces.
Judge
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. it's one of those pieces that simply requires a title card or something explaining itself. Were I to do it again, i was have tried to find more even more disperate pieces of cardboard that looked more contrasting.
